688-1 typically is used to supply power to lamps after a
2ND application of power. 115VAC supplied to black & white
wires is available at the red & white wires after a 2
second interruption. The power should initially be
applied to black & white for at least 2 seconds.
The 688-1 is rated at 2A continuous & is typically used
in chandelier & other fixtures.
